(Click for larger pictures)'Congratulations! The "Bounty's Heritage" program is wonderful! The album looks absolutely beautiful, and I've been enjoying the program immensely. You have captured a side of Pitcairn Island and its' people that has never been documented, and indeed could never be captured by any major production company, because you are one of very few people who have been considered an insider, a friend and confidant of the people of Pitcairn. I am absolutely delighted at the thoroughness of your history, your gift for storytelling, the wonderful original artwork, and the sensitive and loving treatment of the islanders. This program is a rare gem."

The piratical seizure of the ship "Bounty" two centuries ago has generated more literature, more motion pictures and more TV docudramas than any other saga in maritime history. Controversy over the event still rages today, but the video adventure book "Bounty's Heritage The Legacy of Fletcher Christian" at last puts the tale in rightful perspective. I was spellbound for six hours and give it THREE thumbs up.!"

"I admire your persistence in completing this incredibly monumental project. It is most impressive. I've watched the entire series four times now. Connie even watched it twice and she's not particularly interested in Pitcairn. I happen to agree with the San Diego critic that it is the best collection around."

"Quite a lot of the people here have seen your series already and they are real pleased about it. I am pleased too that they like it. My son, Barry, said it's one of the best he has ever seen."

"The Bounty Heritage series of videos by Jerry Miller is a significant addition to the literature on Pitcairn Island and the "Mutiny On The Bounty" story. For those only casually interested in Pitcairn as well as the researcher or scholar deeply involved in study of the subject they form a most interesting as well as informative collection. The Pitcairn Island Study Center is pleased to recommend Mr. Miller's work to all who wish authentic information about this intriguing subject."

"Our names are Patricia and Clarence Young. We were visiting Nola and Reynold Warren and they let us watch the set of video tapes they got from you. Absolutely stunning! Everything about them the best I have seen. The artist work done on them was perfect and everything was so nice. We like the way you told all the old and new history and stories. We would love to order a set."

"I found the more I watched the tapes the more fascinated I became. I went and got out the World Book Encyclopedia to see what it had to say about Pitcairn Island. I wasn't even sure exactly where in the South Pacific it was located. The tapes are wonderful, and I still have a couple of tapes to watch, but I was really enthralled with their Christmas celebration and what they use for a Christmas tree. I guess I never thought of using anything other than a fir. The scenery is gorgeous, and now I would really have loved to be on a cruise ship to stop there, but since I can't do that, I will just watch the tapes over and over again and enjoy."

"I found "Bounty's Heritage" to be a fascinating trip through a unique community in one of the farthest reaches of the planet. As I ventured deeper into your video journey, I felt as though I was cutting myself free from the worries and stress and headlong pace of modern life. Your heartfelt depiction of a community where each nail was priceless and each moment timeless made me yearn for simpler, more honest times in our own history. You have meticulously constructed the historical and human puzzle which leads from the original Mutiny through the centuries to this tiny outpost of humanity where every inhabitant is intimately connected to the island, its history and - most important - to every other person on the island. When I finished the tapes I felt a poignant sense of loss, of having left people whom I'd never met, but whom I knew in all their wonderful generosity of spirit and tranquility of character. I hope that the story told in "Bounty's Heritage" helps keep Pitcairn's Island both vital and unspoiled. Thank you for the dedication and the artistry that went into its creation."
